  • Do I have to identify as a woman to come to these workshops?

    No. We welcome people of all gender identities to these workshops. We want this to be a safe and inclusive space for everyone!

  • How do I find out about upcoming workshops?

  • Where are workshops located?

    We move all over the state to try to reach more people. We require the generous support of “Host” organizations to provide space and tools for our workshops. See the Host page for more information.

  • How often are workshops?

    We try to run the Introduction to Carpentry and the Window Dressers workshops annually. In addition to that, we try to run 2-3 specialty workshops each spring and fall. Our goal is to run 5-6 workshops a year.

  • Can I get involved?

    Yes, please! Check out our Share Your Ideas page. We are always looking for instructors, volunteers, and help with grant writing, administrative tasks and social media.

  • What do I need to bring with me to the workshops?

    We ask participants to bring: layers, closed toe shoes, pencil, camp chair/stool for lunch, water bottle/snacks, and lunch.

    Optional items: tape measure, speed square, tool belt, gloves, masks

    Provided: hearing protection, eye protection
